While the stories of our recipients vary, one thing remains constant...little girls sometimes need something good to happen.

We have given many dolls to girls who lost their fathers in the war.

A happy girl!

At the age of 8, it is Joanie's* habit to go home after school and care for her ill mother.  The gift of Kaya allows her to have a little "person" to love.

Included with each doll is a card for the family to return to us with their contact information.  We will then try to give a small gift on the girl’s birthday or at Christmas time.  If we plan on hosting a tea party in their area, the girl will be invited to bring her doll and join us.  Each girl will receive a small gift for the doll at the tea party.
